Hello
I am Kelli. It is the greatest honor to have a patient trust me to help them on their health journey. I look forward to helping you achieve your optimal health.
My Story
I'm an acupuncturist and Chinese medicine practitioner who has dealt with chronic illness since I was a teenager, experiencing terrible joint pain and debilitating fatigue for more than two decades. During this time, doctors would tell me it was all “in my head.” This felt dismissive and frustrating, so I eventually turned to researching how to heal myself, which is how I discovered acupuncture. My initial sessions with an acupuncturist provided incredible relief. So, in 2015, I went to Dragon Rises College of Oriental Medicine. With the support of fellow acupuncturists and some key doctors, I was finally given a Lyme diagnosis. I have since developed a treatment plan which combines different modalities for healing, and I’ve seen my symptoms become manageable.
Finding acupuncture was life changing. Not only did my symptoms become manageable, I felt heard and seen, and in control of my health for the first time. I experienced firsthand how acupuncture and herbs in combination can make it possible to experience consistent, longer lasting results. I now specialize in acupuncture and Chinese herbal treatments for Lyme disease, mold toxicity, sports injuries, and mental health issues such as stress, anxiety, and depression.
My own challenging health journey has shaped my compassionate approach to serving the mind, body and spirit of each individual. I believe each patient should be seen as a unique individual with a unique experience, and it is my greatest wish for my patients to feel seen and heard and leave feeling empowered. My goal in the course of treatment is to get to the root cause of the problem while treating symptoms along the way to create lasting changes. My treatment style varies from simple to complex depending on each patient's needs. I include modern research into my treatment plan as well as recommendations for lasting changes in food and lifestyle habits that can improve energy and health. When I'm not treating patients, I enjoy hiking with my dog, horseback riding, golfing, reading, and volunteering in the community.
